Entry: My friend the psycho-analyst Sunday, August 29, 2004

Well today was the Bandara for Cintra's mother. I picked up Jerome and we headed over there to give our support (is that the right way to say it?). Everything went by smoothly. Jerome was a big hit when he started psycho-analysing people. They all crowded around him like he was the Messiah preaching the word to his followers. All in all it was fun ^_^

Jerome and I were roped into helping dry dishes after the crowd started to disappear but it was fun. We didn't mind at all. Of course scoring points with the women-folk in the family didn't hurt either :) Ahh yes.. praise us! Feed our egos!

After everyone left we helped take down the tarpaulins. Well, Jerome moved the ladder around like a good prop-boy and I climbed up and untied all the ropes and stuff. I got to use the tall ladder for one of the ends that needed to be untied. I took off my shirt and was all manly-like ;)  I was like strutting around being all masculine-like and impressing .. umm.. Cintra's father?
-  Aye! You shut the hell up! Stop laughing bastards! That's the last time I ever tell you all any stories!

Yeah so anyway... I'm gonna be doing some reading soon. Jerome lent me "Fury" by Salman Rushdie and "Anthills of the Savannah" by Chinua Achebe. I haven't read any new books in so long! This is gonna be good ^_^

Condolences...

Jerome? Vlade? Princes Town? That scamp was all in black, wasn't he? I could have used him at my father's funeral... :-)
